Creating appropriate places
We believe in improving the environment for the aging population and those with dementia who are some of the most vulnerable and least mobile within our community.
Our experience as Access Consultants and Building Surveyors has contributed to our knowledge of aged care, which comes in many forms.
Our goal is to work with providers to understand how they operate their facilities and how to appropriately apply the performance requirements of the NCC to suit the occupants and the management of their care.
Our experience is that for every new aged care facility there are several performance solutions which are suitable to the way the buildings are intended to be used.
Aging in Place
The future of care will incorporate aging-in-place which allows couples and individuals to remain independent in their own home for as long as possible whilst addressing some of their mobility requirements by design.
Livable Housing is an initiative which supports aging-in-place by good design at minimal additional expense.
